Workshop Prerequisites

Day 1: Fiber and Submarine Cables

Basic understanding of fiber optic technology
Knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure
Familiarity with network connectivity concepts
Understanding of data transmission principles

Day 2: Network Security and DDoS Mitigation

Must understand ISP core network technologies
Experinence with ACL (Access Control Lists), Prefix List, Route-map, ... etc.
Working knowledge of BGP (Border Gateway Protocol)
Must bring laptop for hands-on exercises
